In 2015, my family and I made Santa Cruz our home, but our connection to this area started years earlier when we first visited in 2009. We rented a small place in the heart of Pleasure Point, stayed for a few weeks, and never really got over it.
In 2011, we moved to the US from Brazil and settled in the Bay Area, but we kept coming back. When our daughter was born, it was time to stop thinking about it and make the move. I remember the questions clearly. Can we afford this? Are we making the right decision? Today, I help my clients work through those same questions, especially those relocating to the area.
My path into real estate grew out of that experience. As first-time buyers, we had to learn the process from the ground up, and I quickly became deeply engaged in understanding the market and what drives a successful purchase.
To me, a home is a sanctuary. It’s where we recharge and where life happens. Helping someone find that, or move on to the next one, is meaningful work.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some clients want every data point, others want someone they trust to guide them. My role is to understand what matters most to you and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
As a board member of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz, I stay closely connected to the community. I also spent over a decade as a Jazzercise instructor, where I learned how to listen, adapt, and meet people where they are, something I bring into every client relationship.
